a bit of history Once upon a time there was a horse on the merry-go-round, who had lived a long and industrious life, carrying thousand of children round and round, counterclockwise, all in the course of his career. When his luna-park was dismantled, no one had thought about the future of the beautifully carved aminals who had sustained it. They had not foressen that wooden horses could be put out to pasture. In any case, this horse did not aspire to green pastures, but rather to the starlit canopy sky of the amusement park where he was lodged. We found it shortly after it had been abandoned, and we gave it wings, so that it might put its dream into action. It is not exactly a bonafide Pegasus of mythological fame. It is still a wooden horse that is just starting to use its new found wings. however in the nights when the moon is nearly full, one can see it straining to take off into the sky from the highest terrace of our small neighborhood, in search of a distant star....we hope you will enjoy its company. our main entrance |
